A lost Cilla Black song is to hit the charts five years after the Liverpudlian singer’s death.
Single You’re Sensational is being released on download by Warner Music Group on Valentine’s Day.
The love song was recorded in the Seventies as a follow up hit to Cilla’s No3 single Something Tells Me but the tapes were lost for decades.
Cilla’s official website reveals the pop song’s original multi-track tapes were rediscovered late last year, and given a fresh dance makeover by Dutch remixer and DJ Matt Pop.
Matt said: “Now that Cilla is sadly not with us any more, to have this surface like a time machine from the disco era was quite magical.
“A lush production with a full orchestra, it sounds fresh and uplifting. Think The Four Tops, Barry White, Gloria Gaynor or Cilla’s own Step Inside Love.”
Cilla died aged 72 at her holiday home in the Costa Del Sol, southern Spain, in August 2015.
Her son and former manager Robert Willis said: "It was a real joy to find a complete unreleased track by my mother.
"I think the fans will really enjoying hearing it as much as I did.”
During her lifetime Cilla had 19 top 40 hits, 11 top 10s and two No1s.
TV work included presenting ITV’s Blind Date from 1985-2003 and Surprise Surprise from 1984-2001.
