Piers Morgan has jetted off on holiday to "lie in the sunshine" during his two-month break from Good Morning Britain.
The telly star, 55, filmed his final show last week ahead of his annual summer break from work.
This morning, Piers shared a picture of himself on a plane as he jetted out of Britain.
He was seen wearing a facemask in the selfie from the cabin.
Piers wrote: "I’m a washed up, knackered, pathetic excuse for a celebrity - get me outta here. Bye Britain, it’s been... surreal."
It's now known where Piers is going, but it's likely to be a trip to Los Angeles where he owns a luxury holiday home.
During his last show on GMB, he told viewers he was planning a lengthy break in the sunshine.
He said: "This is our last programme until September. We're going to lie in sunshine."
The former newspaper boss also recently admitted he had been missing his Bervely Hills mansion during lockdown as he'd lent it to friends.
Speaking on the show earlier this month, Piers moaned about being stuck in London throughout lockdown while he lent both of holiday homes to loved ones.
He's also given up his country pad in Sussex, which is being used by his parents, and Piers admitted seeing his friends and family using his swimming pools was starting to eat away at him.
Piers said: "I've been in London now since March 14th. I have never been in one place, I don't think in my adult life as long as I've been in London...
"What I've discovered is a new fresh hell where you see other people using your swimming pools...
I'm not asking for sympathy. I'm just saying it's a new form of fresh hell... no sympathy required, it's just annoying.
"After a while it really gets annoying. Seeing nieces and nephews jumping into the pool, running around your garden. Seeing your friends in LA 'Oh this is lovely'".
