The most iconic Bushtucker Trial in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! history looks like it is being prepared for this year's campmates.

The Celebrity Cyclone is the ultimate test for the last four campmates but there were fears that it would be scrapped this year after the show was unable to go Down Under and relocated to Gwyrch Castle in North Wales.

Photos have shown that the ITV show's crew are working hard to assemble the obstacle course in the grounds of the castle.

Inflatable balls, which are usually hurled at the celebrities from the sides, can be seen piled up ready to be used later this week.

The water based challenge sees four celebrities having to battle their way up a slippery slope with huge stars in their arms as hoses soak them and wind machines look to blow them back down.

Just when they look to have won the trial, an avalanche of water cascades down, usually taking them off their feet and back down to the bottom, before they race against time to make it back up to their positions.

There will be a different dimension to the trial this year though.

Normally it is skimpy swimsuits and tight shorts the order of the day as the campmates dress in superhero outfits to face the challenge under the hot Australian sun.

This time though, the temperatures will be no more than seven degrees, and icy water will be their enemy as the celebrities face a freezing version of the Cyclone trial.

A source told The Sun : "This often took place in the heat of the Australian jungle which meant it could easily be staged outside where it needs huge amounts of space.

Fans will be pleased that the trial will be back this year
The Celebrity Cyclone is the ultimate test

"That left fans wondering if building something similar in Gwrych Castle in Wales might be impossible, because of the freezing temperatures and the limited room inside the building and its grounds.

"But it seems producers, who are determined to ensure the British equivalent is just as fun as the one Down under, have found a way to make it happen."
